We at STAR NET can provide assistance to families and professionals relating to young children birth through age eight who are at varied stages and levels of development.

Some of the ways we can help include:

  • Suggesting helpful materials, books and videos that are available through our Library.
  • Telephone assistance from one of our Resource Specialists. Get information on topics of interest to you--such as assessment, instructional strategies, environments and the Special Education Law, and much more--all by phone.
  • On Site Support--such as classroom observation and feedback with staff, or facilitation of a team problem-solving session--can be tailored to the individual needs of the group of professionals or family members.
  • A Resource Specialist can facilitate an on site workshop for families and professionals on a topic of interest to your group. Some previous workshop topics include:
  • Finding and Using Resources You Need
  • Transition from Early Intervention to Early Childhood
  • Positive Behavior Strategies
  • Understanding the Play of Young Children

You can fill out a Technical Assistance Request Form or get more information by calling the STAR NET Office.
