Delivery by interlibrary loan

The Center Library participates in interlibrary loan delivery service with all libraries in Illinois. Your local public library card allows you to request items through the interlibrary loan service.

Ask the librarian at your local library for more information. You need to know some basic info about what you want (title & author, or print out the info from your WorldCat Search, or from Amazon.com) and the librarian will do the rest.

You can also request journal articles through interlibrary loan. Say you found an abstract in ERIC that looks promising; simply bring the citation to your local librarian to request the article for you.

Interlibrary loan service is much faster than it used to be. Most things are delivered within 3 days.
