Directory of Two-Way Bilingual Immersion Programs in the U.S.
The Center for Applied Linguistics (CAL) has compiled a list of two-way programs - also referred to as dual language programs - in the United States. The CAL website also offers a variety of dual language resources, including research bibliographies, dual language specific publications, TWI bulletins, and more.

Illinois Resource Center Course and Workshop schedule
The Illinois Resource Center (IRC) offers workshops and classes designed specifically for the dual language educator. Check the current course and workshop schedule for course and workshop descriptions, times, and fees.

Dual Language Education of New Mexico provides links to information on research on dual language education, resources for parents in Spanish and English, and links to the annual dual language-focused conference hosted in the fall by Dual Language Education of New Mexico, La Cosecha.

Two-Way CABE
This is the two-way focused affiliate of the California Association of Bilingual Education. This website offers links to research and professional development opportunities, and has information on the national annual conference hosted in the summer by Two-Way CABE.

The Guiding Principles for Dual Language Education is a tool to help dual language programs (two-way immersion, heritage language, foreign language immersion, or developmental bilingual programs) with program planning and ongoing program implementation. This is a useful tool for program evaluation as well.

The Two-Way Immersion Toolkit is a helpful resource for dual language educators. For example, it includes dowloadable sample lesson plans,
Q & A’s for teachers and parents (in both English and Spanish), and a study guide for school-based teacher study groups.

Illinois State Board of Education Division of English Language Learning
The ISBE DELL website provides information on state rules and regulations, testing materials and dates, teacher certification, and other issues related to state and federal legal requirements.
