Recommended Books for Young Children Each book was chosen carefully evaluated within the following domains for inclusion: illustrations, conceptual focus, style, storyline, creativity, diversity, age applicability and genre. In addition to books written for children, we have included literacy related resources for professionals. We acknowledge that there are additional quality books for young children that do not appear on the list due to space restrictions or publishers willingness to contribute review copies.
