I-TEACHe Training Workshops
Training sessions about I-TEACHe are offered throughout the year.
Details about upcoming I-TEACHe sessions are listed in the current Professional Development Catalog. Workshops added after the catalog was printed are listed on the Additonal Workshops page.

Register by mail with the registration form or register online.

Prerequisite: Participants must have completed training in implementing a research based assessment system (e.g., Work Sampling System Illinois, High Scope's Child Observation Record (COR), Creative Curriculum Developmental Continuum, Teaching Strategies GOLD, etc.) and be actively using the assessment system in their classroom.
Intended audience: Teachers, teacher assistants, administrators.

Early Childhood Standards Project (ECSP)
Becomes I-TEACHe

During the summer of 2007, the Early Childhood Standards Project (ECSP) system became Illinois Tools for Early Childhood Excellence (I-TEACHe). The new system incorporates a number of requested changes and becomes independent of any specific assessment system. To be eligible, individuals must complete an assessment system workshop (e.g., WSSIL).

Former ECSP Users
If you are planning to use the system in the coming year, you will need to attend an orientation sessions. Contact our office for more information.

In addition, there will be changes to the Early Childhood Standards Project. On August 17, 2007 the ECSP site shifted to an "Archive Only" system, and you will not be able to add any new information to it. You will be directed to www.I-TEACHe.org website.
