 ECDEC Instructional Assistant and Teacher Positions

ECDEC is regularly interviewing for Early Childhood Teacher positions. Qualified candidates will have a Professional Educator License (PEL) in early childhood, as well as approval in Early Childhood Special Education and ESL or Bilingual endorsements. ECDEC is regularly interviewing for Nap Assistant positions. Qualified candidates will have a minimum of high school equivalency. Additionally, ECDEC maintains a list of authorized Teacher and IA subs to serve our preschool classrooms located in Palatine and Wheeling Townships. Qualified teacher sub candidates will have a Sub License; qualified instructional assistant subs will have or be willing to obtain a Paraprofessional Educator License. Previous experience working with young children is preferred, but not required. The teacher sub rate is $136/day; the IA sub rate is $90/day.
